Hope City Church’s community in Frederick, Maryland
A local church with a welcome worth sharing.

Hope City Church gathers in a local school in Frederick, Maryland. As a church plant, it needed people nearby to discover the church and feel comfortable taking a first step.

Over a year of working together, CCM’s role has focused on advertising: inviting the community to the launch, helping people plan a visit, and promoting meaningful moments such as Easter and the church’s first birthday.

The campaign work paired a personal invitation with a clear response. The church’s own people, welcome and ministry gave that invitation its meaning.

Let people meet the welcome.

The video invitation puts a face to the church before someone arrives. Local language, a specific Sunday and a simple next step make the invitation easy to understand.

Sources, reporting scope and what the figures mean

Campaign scope: These figures cover the six campaigns visible in Hope City’s Meta Ads Manager snapshot on November 5, 2026. The selected Maximum reporting window is October 5, 2023–November 5, 2026; it does not mean advertising ran continuously throughout that period. The figures are not presented as a complete lifetime or full-partnership total.

How the totals work: The six campaigns report 631 Leads (Form), $8,490.99 in media spend, 307,861 impressions and 5,962 link clicks. Blended cost per form lead is total spend divided by total form leads, rounded to $13.46. Campaign costs are reproduced as Meta displays them. Media spend excludes CCM’s management fees.

Responses and attendance: Meta form leads are not a count of unique people or confirmed church visits. Meta’s displayed attribution setting is 7-day click or 1-day view. The separate 300-person anniversary attendance milestone comes from the church’s report; it is not attributed entirely to advertising or used to calculate a cost per attendee.

What CCM provided: This case study covers an ads-only partnership, including Plan Your Visit, launch and event campaign work. The church’s website and community imagery provide context for the story.

What your church can put into practice.

Make the invitation personal.

Speak to your city and let people meet the people who will welcome them. Hope City’s anniversary invitation named Frederick and addressed the uncertainty of trying church.

Learn from the response.

Keep reviewing the creative. In June 2026, CCM tested new videos alongside a general invitation, then shifted the remaining budget toward the stronger performer.

Help people take the next step.

Make the date, time and location clear. For Welcome Home Sunday, the campaign also included reminders before the event so interested people had the details they needed.
